Equipment Introduction

The Epredia tissue processor allows fixed tissues to be infiltrated with wax so that they are ready for embedding and cutting. It also offers reduced tissue processing time and less risk of tissue damage, by adapting agitation, with no reduction in processing quality. It is also closed to reduce user exposure to reagents.

Reagent stations ≥16 reagent stations (including 6 dehydration reagent bottles; 3 transparent reagent bottles; 2 fixative reagent bottles and 2 replacement reagent bottles; 3 flushing stations, capacity 5L).
Wax tankMetal wax tank, 3 wax tanks and 1 waste wax tank, capacity: ≥5.6L; temperature range: 45°C-65°C; with dual temperature detection function, real-time monitoring of paraffin level through temperature comparison.
Reagent preheating functionWith reagent preheating function, the dehydrating agent and transparent reagent will be dehydrated faster after preheating, and the effect will be more uniform; reagent storage temperature: room temperature ~ 35 ℃.
Alcohol specific gravity monitoring function With alcohol specific gravity monitoring function, the quality of reagents can be continuously tracked to ensure high-quality dehydration; reagent rotation can be automatically completed inside the machine without interrupting the dehydration process, avoiding direct contact between operators and harmful gases.
Automatic replenishment functionIt has the function of automatic replenishment of less liquid and the function of reagent transferring, which can ensure the safety of samples in all aspects.
Backup batteryEquipped with a backup battery, the standby time is ≥ 4 hours, the short program can be run directly, and the long program can be ensured the safety of the sample.
Filtration systemThe reaction cylinder has a downward pumping function, which can effectively control the emission of harmful gases; a double filter system of potassium permanganate and activated carbon is used to ensure the safety of the operator.
Xylene-free programsXylene-free programs can be run without heating up (to 85°C), and will not affect subsequent IHC studies.
