Equipment Introduction

Optima AUC is a general method for the qualitative analysis of macromolecules in solution. The Optima AUC combines a centrifuge capable of settling particulate matter with an optical module capable of detecting settling over time. Analytical ultracentrifugation techniques provide insight into sample molecular weight, shape, structure, interactions, and heterogeneity.
