Brain and Cognitive Sciences
The Brain and Cognitive Sciences Core at BioCRF is committed to delivering state-of-the-art neuroscience research tools for in-depth, cross-disciplinary exploration of brain functions and disorders. The Core boasts an array of cognitive behavioral instruments and non-invasive neuroimaging technologies, including desktop and portable electroencephalography (EEG), polysomnography (PSG), functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), and eye tracker. Specialized labs are also established that merge stringent experimental precision with environmental comfort. Additionally, the Core features cutting-edge electrophysiological equipment, such as patch-clamp and in vivo neural recording systems, enabling precise monitoring and sophisticated analysis of neural activity, from cellular insights to behavioral contexts in freely moving animals.
