Equipment Introduction

Maestro Edge multiwell microelectrode array (MEA) system is designed for labs with lower throughput needs.  Record from 6- and 24-well MEA plates. Maestro Edge allows for non-invasive evaluation of your cells in an easy-to-use in vitro assay. It can monitor the intricate, electrical activity of excitable cells.

Specification

Field potential detection channel384 channels, and all electrode channels can simultaneously record and real-time monitor sample electrophysiological data.
IntegrationAutomated temperature and carbon dioxide control functions.
Temperature control moduleCovers both sides of the microelectrode array porous plate to prevent condensation of water vapor on the top cover.
Voltage and current stimulation modesAll electrodes on any plate type can be simultaneously selected to achieve concurrent stimulation of multiple electrodes in a single well.
UseAll 384 microelectrodes can be simultaneously or arbitrarily selected as stimulation electrodes, and the setting of stimulation waveforms and modes (continuous current or continuous voltage) can be realized.
ModuleA optogenetic control module, with 4 independent light channels within a single well.
