Introduction to Linear Bessel light sheet imaging system

Seminar Highlights

Fluorescence imaging is one of the most important research tools in life science research. In recent years, with the deepening of research, researchers have an increasing demand for 3D fluorescence imaging. The light sheet microscope basically realizes optical slicing by selecting a plane for excitation. It has the characteristics of fast imaging speed, low photobleaching and low phototoxicity in 3D fluorescence imaging. The quality of light sheet imaging essentially depends on the properties of the light sheet, including its thickness and effective field of view. This lecture will introduce the principle, characteristics, and application in 3D fluorescence imaging of the linear Bessel light sheet developed by LiT.
