High Throughput Screening
The High Throughput Screening Core at BioCRF is a pivotal resource that offers infrastructure and specialized expertise to support research investigators in the identification and exploration of new compounds or tool molecules for basic research and pharmacological discovery. The Core is fully equipped with a wide range of resources, including diverse small molecule libraries, advanced cell culture facilities, and a full suite of automated systems for detection, robotics, imaging, and verification, tailored for work in microwell plates. These capabilities empower researchers to efficiently conduct large-scale compound screenings and rapidly analyze their activities and effects, facilitating the discovery and characterization of potential therapeutic agents and novel compounds. Furthermore, the Core collaborates closely with scientists at all stages of high throughput screening, providing valuable expertise and guidance in assay construction, development, optimization, miniaturization, implementation, analysis, and validation.
