Equipment Introduction

Compared with the traditional low-pressure gas discharge plasma source, Atmospheric Room Temperature Plasma (ARTP) has the characteristics of low plasma jet temperature, uniform discharge and high concentration of chemically active particles. Based on ARTP technology, Our company, together with the Department of chemical engineering and the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University, has jointly developed the first special instrument for mutation and breeding of microorganisms by means of plasma — ARTP Mutagenesis Breeding Machine. The instrument has high mutation rate, compact structure, simple operation, high safety and fast mutation speed. A large mutation library can be obtained by one mutation operation (within a few minutes), which greatly improves the intensity of strain mutation and the capacity of mutation library; ARTP technology combined with high-throughput screening technology can realize rapid and efficient evolutionary breeding of organisms.
