Proteomics and Metabolomics

The Proteomics and Metabolomics Core focuses on providing solutions for the entire process of proteomics and metabolomics based on liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technology to support life science research. The Core is outfitted with several top-of-the-line mass spectrometers, such as Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris 480, Bruker timsTOF HT, and Bruker rapifleX MALDI-TOF/TOF, which can meet the diverse needs of on-campus and off-campus users for qualitative proteomics, quantitative proteomics, post-translational modification proteomics, targeted/untargeted metabolomics, lipidomics, and mass spectrometry imaging. In addition, the Core is equipped with two software tools, Proteome Discoverer and PEAKS Studio, for qualitative and quantitative analysis of proteomics research, as well as Compound Discoverer and MetaboScape for qualitative and quantitative analysis in metabolomics research, providing great convenience for researchers to decipher mass spectrometry data.
