Structural Biology
The Structural Biology Core at BioCRF is a valuable resource for researchers seeking to delve into the intricate molecular structures, which is equipped with a range of advanced instruments, including the Dragonfly liquid handler, nanolitre liquid handler, Jansi UVEX imaging system, Vitrobot for Cryo-EM sample preparation, and chameleon for automated Cryo-EM sample preparation. The Core is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art equipment and expert consultation to support researchers. The Structural Biology Core works in synergy with the High Throughput Screening Core to conduct structure-based drug design and discovery, enabling more accurately predicting drug-target interactions, accelerating the discovery of potential drug candidates, and laying the foundation for the development of innovative drugs with independent intellectual property rights.
